Favorite Hole Move: The Loop; big, simple.

Favorite Quote: "Flatwater sucks" Yampah River Improvements Comittee, circa 1990.

WW Certifications:  ACA whitewater instructor

Role Models: Bobby Miller when writing, Steven Wright when kayaking, Shaft when being a bad mother- shut yo' mouth - talking about Shaft.

First Descents: Fourmile Creek (which runs through my backyard)

Last Significant Thrashing: Uhh, I don't actually want to talk about that right now. I swam out of Molly's Nipple on the Slave.

Musical Taste: Suprisingly, I've found that I don't hate country as vehemently as I used to. Maybe the Mullet is sinking its roots into my brain.

Other Interests: I've been a badass nitta (talking 'bout Shaft) for some time now, but lately I've started more crochet, and I've also almost finished my first quilt. Oh, that and "rockin' shows and bangin' ho's." Apparently that's what all the cool kids are doing these days.

Longest Drive to Paddling Destination: From Pinedale Wyoming to the Slave. I tried to find out how far it was, but according to google maps, there are no roads North of Edmonton, which is about the halfway point, at 1,000 miles. So, around 2-3,000 miles.

Longest Trip to Paddling Destination: Well, that would be a toss up between the Zambezi and California. I know, California seems closer, but I did that entire drive in one push, with no copilot: 22 hrs behind the wheel.

Media: Yeah, ah, I was on the cover of National Geographic, one time. It was this photo of me doing a big panam, uh, on the ah...Tsang Po. Alright, that's a lie. I was doing a loop.
