Gauley Fest '04

Gauley Fest was a great big party as usual. This year I was able to paddle the Dries Put-in Waves and the Upper Gauley on Friday, rock out the Fluid booth on Saturday, and paddle with the masses on the Upper again on Sunday. Over all this years festival was great fun. I had most of my demo fleet of Flirts spoken for the entire weekend with lots of happy paddlers reluctantly giving me back the demos.

Gauley is always fun because it is the one time of the year that you can meet up with all your paddling friends that you haven't seen in awhile. It was also good this year because about 90% of the North American Fluid Team was at the Festival and on the river.
