| I got to spend over three weeks in Africa this year while joining the Fluid International Kayaking Team on the first annual Fluid Team Trip to the Zambezi River. I had Seth and Sheila Chapelle as travel companions before and after the two weeks on the Zambezi. Overall I got to visit six new countries: Spain, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, and Lesotho. With great warm weather in the southern hemisphere I was able to get lots of paddling in as well as experience much of the local cultures.
