April MD Chute-out

This was the fist MD Chute-out of '05 and was held at Portage Hole. The event was tons of fun with a big turnout. The Local Paddler crew showed up as well as the Huge Experience kids. Craig Rivett, from the South African Fluid Team, was even in town with the Huge boys. The hole was pretty flushy, but did allow for cartwheels both ways and some loops.

Joe as usual showed everyone the full potential of the hole throwing tons of ends, with cleans, and some big loops, thrown in for good measure. Joe's score was enough to beat the K-1 A Men's top score. Seth put on a good performance with some huge loops and some clean righties. I managed a bunch of right ends, a split, and some loop attempts.

This is a great local event that is held on the last thursday of each month throughout the summer. James Sneeringer organizes the event and really does a great job of scoring and making it a fun experience. Be sure to check out the next Chute-out on May 26.
