This year's June MD Chute-Out was delayed due to high water levels and ended up being only a few days before the '06 Potomac Whitewater Festival. This turned out to be a great thing as tons of locals and pros alike were in town and gearing up for the big competition at the Festival.

Fluid was well represented with Ross, Graeme, Seth, Sera, Helene, and myself all in attandance in Fluid boats. Ross and Graeme were fresh off the plane from Cali and rocked the competition with a 2nd and 4th respectively in the K-1A class. Seth racked up a huge score that put him in second in C-1 and would have been good enough for 2nd in K-1A. Sera got 3rd in the womens class and Helene did quite well for her first freestyle competion ever. I had the worst performance that I've ever had in my long history at the Chute-Out, but it was only my third day back on the water after dealing with my shoulder issues.
