The Go Big Rig was at the Ohiopyle Falls Race again this year. The race was again a really fun and safe event, although organization on the river fell apart a little this year. This year, cloudy and rainy conditions couldn't even hold back the huge crowds and large number of falls runners.
The Large Solo treated me well in the race again this year with a quick time. A rock in the eddy above the falls cost me a few seconds and put me out of the running for the top few spots. Bobby Miller and I also used our Medium Flirts in the Freestyle off the falls event. Bobby threw a big freewheel off the lip that the crowd really got behind.
Hopefully I'll see you at next years festival. I'm planning on being in better shape and avoiding that stupid rock in the eddy to make the podium next year.
